I base my design decisions on research, letting it guide the process of understanding my users, stakeholders and teammates. Design that is not grounded in research is like a morning without breakfast (happens but it's not quite right, y'know?)

My goal is to devise solutions that are responsible, dependable, and respectful of both other beings and the environment. I try to design not only for joy, but for the human experience as a whole—messiness and all. To be messy is to be human!

As problem-solvers, we must go beyond empathy. Without a sense of otherness and compassion, thoughtful design is not possible. I trust my background and therapeutic skills to help me listen actively, work ethically, and feel genuinely.
